as little as i may have, as many misfortunes that may come my way, i have become a woman. to become a woman does not mean that you have to prove yourself to anyone, it means that you feel it in your bones, you sense it in your mind, and it beats within your heart.
i can be called names, i can be doubted, and it can all sum up to failure, but at the end of the day i embraced it and took it all as a part of life. with misunderstandings and the understanding of exactly that, i have indulged in every tear, every cramp, and every ache that my heart has felt. underestimated but always proven to be much more than what is expected.
to become a woman is to see every other woman for their beauty, to appreciate them as your sister and your own kind; because at the end of the day we all go through the same struggle and triumphant together.
there is no greater feeling…
