is twitter the new match.com?
when i first heard of twitter i didnt really understand its purpose, i asked my cousin what it was for and she said ” its like updating your status on facebook multiple times a day.”
I first had twitter in Spring 2009 and no one i knew had it. When i asked people to get it they looked at me like i was stupid. now everyone has it and to put it in simple terms : you are publicizing yourself for free. but what exactly are you publicizing? you aren’t a celebrity, a cooperation or bill gates.
Nowdays when everyone hops on to twitter there is a small comment such as ” people use twitter to bag bitches ” and guess what im pretty sure females do it too.
personally i have a certain amount of followers that have sent me DM’s let it be to ask me a question, or……….. to give me their number. now its up to me to use it.
How often does this happen to you?
I actually think that females put themselves on the market by the pictures that they post and their avi’s and most importantly their tweets. all females fall into this “category” so stop nodding your head sayin you dont.
twitter is a tool that makes YOUR world much smaller and it definitely makes it less personal and at the very same time it might help you find your potential husband. that one specific person that might have had an eye on you for years and they finally found you on twitter.
although we all might say that we use twitter for entertainment … right there a mention away is the attention you’ve been waiting for from that one person, scary right.
